Samast Mahajan, a leading NGO in the field of animal welfare and rural development, implemented an
extensive skill development initiative in FY 2023–24 across 1,065 Gaushalas in Maharashtra.The primary objective was to empower Gaushala workers, especially women and youth, by equipping them with knowledge and practical skills to produce organic and eco-friendly products derived from indigenous cow resources – primarily cow dung (Gobar) and cow urine (Gomutra).
