The honour was conferred by the Barod unit of the Journalists Union of Madhya Pradesh for his outstanding service works.

The Journalist Union felicitated Girish Bhai Shah, a member of the Animal Welfare Board, Barod (Agar-Malwa). Girish Bhai Shah (Mumbai), Hon’ble Member and Managing Trustee, Animal Welfare Board of India (GoI) was felicitated by the citizens during a felicitation programme at Barod in Agar district today. The honour was conferred by the Barod unit of the Journalists Union of Madhya Pradesh for his outstanding service works.
Identified as an inspirational personality, the office bearers of the Union, while presenting the citation to Shri Shah, said that he has a distinct identity in the society as a service-oriented, devout and inspirational personality. His pioneering role in education, social service and religious activities has always been exemplary. The journalists hailed the public interest work being done by them as a great achievement for the society.
The function was attended by senior journalists and journalists, including Amjad Khan, Mahendra Jain, Pintu Bairagi, Sabir Shaikh, Shubham Bhavsar, Vinod Mali, Sunil Chauhan and Ankur Jain.
Also, among the dignitaries of the city, Senior Rajendra Jain, Ashok Modi (Malwa Region), Santosh Jain (Sangh Chalak), Ajit Jain, Prakash Chauradia and Dilkhush Jain also attended the programme and appreciated the contribution of Shri Shah while wishing him a bright future.
